Yella Beezy was detained on Thursday for a 2021 se*ual assault accusation. The rapper was seized by the Collin County Sheriff’s Office a day after a court issued an arrest warrant, citing inadequate bail. He is being jailed on a $1 million bail and is also known as Markies Deandre Conway. He was also charged with illegally carrying a firearm, which is a misdemeanor.

The reasons for Yella Beezy’s arrest

Beezy was arrested in November 2021 for felony s*xual assault, felony abandoned endangered kid, and misdemeanor unauthorized carrying of a firearm. He was freed on a bail of $7,500. A few days later, an anonymous lady alleged that Beezy raped her during a date, revealing new facts about the case. Following the allegations, Beezy defended himself on social media, writing,

“You simply need to quit making fun of my name.” I was arrested on bogus charges. I was arrested before I was ever questioned, and I was aware of everything that was going on, but the claims are baseless. Everyone who knows me understands that I’m not pressured for sex or anything of the kind. I’m not an aggressive person. That has nothing to do with me…my character. That item and I don’t even belong in the same phrase. It doesn’t even sound right when I say it.”

In response to the child endangerment allegations, he said that everyone knew he would never damage or endanger his children. He declared that he would die for them and remarked,

“So, for those who don’t understand, child endangerment has nothing to do with anything sexual… It was something that occurred when they arrived and arrested me. But I can’t really comment on a lot of it. It has nothing to do with my baby mama.” “It has nothing to do with any of it.” All of the fake stories. They came and arrested me, but I can’t really touch on a lot of it since my attorneys told me not to, but I just wanted to speak up because people misinterpreted things.”
