It is unsurprising that TikTok has spawned a slew of influencers. Those influencers also have a sizable following. As a result, the platform has elevated them to the point where they now have their own shows. Netflix’s Hype House is one such show.
The show follows the same-named TikTok content house members in their daily lives. Their love lives, careers, fights, and controversies are all covered in the eight episodes.
A few influencers were dissatisfied with their representation after the show aired. Larray was one of them.
Netflix’s ‘Hype House’ Blamed By Larry
In the year 2020, Larray was a member of the Hype House for almost a year. As a result, he was cast in a Netflix series.
The series addressed some of his previous controversies, such as attending a party after being tested for COVID-19. The ups and downs of his friendship with Nikita Dragun were also depicted.
Hype House has been panned and is currently trending on Netflix in the United States. The influencer, on the other hand, appears dissatisfied with the show and how he was portrayed on it.
Noah Beck uploaded a YouTube video titled “Larray opens up about the Hype House Reality Show!” on January 10, 2022. He discussed the series and his thoughts on it, as implied by the title.
He claimed that he was painted as the show’s bad guy. Then he had an outright rant about people, which was bleeped out.
Later in the video, the TikToker claims that people were jealous of him and created false stories about him. Similarly, he stated that he would never participate in another reality show due to the drama. Although neither Beck nor the TikToker named the “people,” it’s possible that the latter was referring to Dragun.
Larray and Nikita Dragun
The influencer and Dragun were featured in the show as they navigated their friendship. Despite the fact that they refer to each other as best friends, they appear to be frenemies.
Dragun claimed the TikToker threw her under the bus in one instance, and the two did not speak for weeks. He was infected with COVID-19, and the entire show’s production had to be halted.
All members of Hype House, as well as their acquaintances, had to be quarantined. Dragun, on the other hand, was out partying at the time and allegedly knew her friend had COVID.
Dragun, according to Larray’s team and management, became inebriated and was forced to attend the party. Days after the party, her team informed her of the situation.
She claimed she didn’t call him and that he showed up at the party on his own accord. Dragun was hurt by his actions, which dubbed her the “scapegoat.”
After a week of Dragun avoiding the TikToker, the two spoke to each other. They talked it out, only to discover that he was completely unaware of the situation.
Later in the show, the influencer expressed his displeasure with his fans for him hanging out with Dragun. This was due to her controversies and the numerous cancellations she has received.
Dragun was also accused of blackfishing, but she did not respond appropriately. Dragun had cheated the TikToker, the TikToker admitted. Because he didn’t say who he was referring to, this is all speculation. We won’t know for sure unless he confesses who he was talking about.
