Concord NC Coach Kendall Bost’s Obituary
Kendall Bost, a Concord Middle School teacher, died in a sad accident on Saturday. Kendall, a North Carolina native, wanted to coach the football team this autumn. Kenneth McClamrock, a close friend, disclosed in a Facebook post that Kendall had messaged him about his intentions. Kenneth said that the middle school instructor had established excellent contact with the parents of his kids.
Kendall graduated from Concord High School and played football on the varsity squad. He attended Appalachian State University and graduated with a political science and government degree in 2018. After graduating, Kendall worked as a material handler at S&D Coffee & Tea for two years. He then enrolled at Concord Middle School in 2022.
Kendall remains loyal to his high school football squad, as seen by a tweet from 2018. An X user, Concord Spider FB, posted a picture of Kendall instructing the young football squad. The user stated, “Even during a break, Kendall Bost took a few minutes to explain to the JV linemen what it means to wear Concord on your breast! “It’s Special” features Coach Porter and Mrs. Porter’s daughter Riley soaking it all in.” The Concord community has arranged a fundraiser for the deceased coach. The $5,000 goal was met within a few hours of the GoFundMe reaching many social media sites.
Family and Friends Remember The Football Coach
Kendall was the first child of Caroline Bost and Donovan Flemming. The instructor has two younger siblings: Kailan and Kizziah. Caroline was the one who initially disclosed that her son had died in a horrible accident. Caroline captioned a cute snapshot of Kendall giving her a back hug: “I’ll love you forever and ever.” “I thank God for the time I spent with you, my sweet boy.”
She subsequently posted Otis Reading’s song The Dock of the Bay as a tribute to her son. Donovan also uploaded a collage for his kid, which includes a childhood photograph of Kendall as well as a photo of him during his coaching responsibilities. He wrote, “My firstborn kid, I’m at a loss for words. I may have been a nasty person for much of my life, but I always wanted you, your sister and your brother to succeed in life.
In your 29 years, you were a finer man than I ever was, and you were similar to me in many respects, but you were different; you were a man respected in life, and you will be much missed. “My heart is shattered. Kendall’s sister, Kailan, was always supportive of her brother. Kendall even posted a happy tweet for him when he began teaching at Concord in 2022.
Several of Kendall’s acquaintances turned to social media to pay tribute to the former coach. Annie Elizabeth, his close friend, wrote, “If I could have one desire, it would be for you to pay me another visit. One more embrace. “We love you, Big BBK.”
