Reactions to Tom Brady’s Return from Retirement

Brady’s announcement has prompted a lot of responses. But the most intriguing ones are from individuals who recognized the comic side of things. He announced his retirement on February 1, 2022. At the moment, he stated his family was his most outstanding achievement.

He appeared ready to dedicate his full attention to his family – his wife, Gisele Bundchen, and his three kids: Vivian, Benjamin, and John Edward. This became the most controversial item for everyone when he announced his comeback. Seemingly, everyone seized on this.

“Tom Brady Got In One Argument With His Wife And Said I’m Going Back To Work,” one mocked on Twitter.

Another added, “Brady spent a month with his family and said [expletive] this [expletive] I’m going back to football.”

Some even stated Brady always knew he would not sit on the sidelines. And some blamed his star sign for the act. “tom Brady faking his retirement to hear all the lovely things people have to say about him is huge Leo energy,” one accused.

The spike in petrol prices, too, was brought up as a motivation for him to get back to playing. Indeed he wouldn’t have to worry about it THAT much, would he? One account pointed out the ridiculousness of Brady’s behavior. “Tom Brady has faked his retirement twice in one summer. This may be an NFL record,” they stated.

Theories concerning Tom Brady’s Return

Even though Brady indicated his motivation for returning was the reality of not being old enough to retire, others have argued his competitive spirit could have gotten the best of him.

Some have suggested that his desire for the sport was renewed after Cristiano Ronaldo’s hat-trick for Manchester United on March 12, 2022. He was in attendance at Old Trafford for Ronaldo’s stunning display.

They even had a moment on the pitch after the soccer game. Essentially, the speculators believe Ronaldo sent some encouraging words to the 7-time Super Bowl winner, making him reconsider his retiral.

Brady personally acknowledged this a day later. SubZeroSports tweeted his comments where he claimed he rethought his retirement after witnessing Ronaldo play.

“I was thinking darn brilliance never goes away, and I thought about how I still have something left in me to make a last dance,” he allegedly stated.

Another reason he could have come back is because of NBA great LeBron James. James supposedly contacted Brady before his big 54-pointer game for the Los Angeles Lakers. In the text, James highlighted how they were “the best” at what they did, competing with one another.
So, after that game, Brady texted James, saying, “Alright, I’m coming back.”It remains to be seen how he plays after a six-week retirement, but it’s undoubtedly a delight for the fans to see him balling again.
