Yulia Tarasevich, Mrs. Russia International runner-up, has been rendered unrecognizable after a botched £3,000 facelift operation. She can no longer shut her eyes or grin. In Krasnodar, the 43-year-old opted to have some cosmetic treatments, including a facelift, blepharoplasty, and mini-liposuction. In an interview, she said that she went to the surgeon to reduce the indications of aging. She stated:
“I arrived with a gorgeous, healthy face.” But, unfortunately, I lost my health. Scars emerged on my cheeks after they took out all of my tissue. I can’t raise my upper lip, and one of my facial muscles is completely paralyzed.”
She paid £20,000 to repair her face after the botched facelift disaster. Yulia Tarasevich is now suing the physicians involved in the surgery, Andrey Komarov and Omar Khaled. The two physicians said that the lady had a rare hereditary disorder called scleroderma,’ which made the failed procedure hard to foresee.
What condition Is Yulia Tarasevich In?
Scleroderma, commonly known as systemic sclerosis, is an uncommon condition. It often hardens and tightens the skin, causing difficulties with blood vessels, internal organs, and the digestive system. Medical specialists have yet to determine the source of the sickness. It has, however, been determined to be an autoimmune illness. The immune system, designed to defend the body from infections, generates inflammation.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, scleroderma is challenging to diagnose since it may affect several body regions. Symptoms of the condition include red patches on the skin, ulcerations on the fingers and toes, joint pain and stiffness, shortness of breath, chronic cough, heartburn, constipation, shortness of breath, exhaustion, and hair loss, among others. The condition is often misdiagnosed as rheumatoid arthritis or lupus.
A lot of people think that if their surgery goes well, they’re out of the woods. Remember: the healing process that starts postoperatively can be just as important. #Botched
