In 1994, Simon married Nunez Jr. It’s unclear how they originally met. Yulanda has two lovely children, Micole Nunez, and Mia Nunez, as a result of their marriage. They did, however, decide to divorce after 15 years of marriage. They are no longer married.
The cause of their divorce
During an appearance on Pedis & Mimosas Live, Nunez Jr. discussed how divorce impacted him. He claims it has the same effect on males as it does on women. It is especially damaging for women. In addition, he said that he and Simon are great buddies. When asked why they divorced, he said that he was on the road for a show.

He was born in New York’s Manhattan. His mother was originally from Wilson, North Carolina. Simon’s mother went away from North Carolina to New York when he was 16 and met James Brown, with whom she subsequently co-wrote Brown’s song “It’s a Man’s World.” His maternal grandparents reared him.
He has seven half-brothers and a half-sister from his mother’s many relationships, all of whom are one year apart. She gave them to her parents in North Carolina, where they owned a farm when they were three years old. As a result, he and his siblings grew up on a farm. From the moment he could talk, he was bitten by the acting bug. He remembered telling his mother that if he became a movie star, he would not buy her anything since she spanked him.
At the time, he was approximately three or four years old. He said unequivocally that he knew he would be where he is now. When he expressed an interest in becoming an actor, almost everyone he met dismissed him as insane. They were continuously telling him it was impossible. They told him he was from North Carolina, that he was black, poor, and tiny, but he never stopped dreaming, and that is why he is here today. He’s never had a cold or flu since he was a kid. He had been completely healthy. Miguel had only been ill once in the previous 30 years.
He fell sick twice, both times with Corona Virus. But he had no idea he had. Nune was short for Nunez, and he was dubbed “Hollywood Nune.” He wore a denim jacket with the word “Hollywood” written on the back with a magic marker. He obtained a job at Tobacco Warehouse after graduating from high school. When he received his first check, the first thing that sprang to mind was that it was a chance for him to travel to Hollywood. He then announced his resignation.
They informed him there was a week remaining for a complete paycheck, but he was too impatient to wait since he knew if he changed his mind, he’d be trapped there. He then returned home, cooked three bologna sandwiches, and composed a message announcing his intention to flee to Hollywood. His first job was as the lead in a commercial. He earned the part when a bus driver alerted him about the cattle call audition. Someone else gave him his resume. He then crossed out his name and rewrote it. Miguel auditioned and was cast in the major role. He landed 42 of the following 47 auditions.
