NBA YoungBoy’s problems seem to be far from over since he was just caught falsifying a drug test. According to AllHipHop, the rapper used another person’s urine sample as his own during a drug test last month. However, when he was requested to provide a legitimate urine sample, he tested positive for THC, a hallucinogenic chemical present in marijuana.
According to court filings, YoungBoy utilized a method to fill the testing cup with someone else’s urine, and despite the fact that an observing officer saw him doing so, he denied it and sneaked off of the premises. When his own urine sample came back positive the next day, he admitted to using someone else’s. He further said that he lied about the earlier test since he knew his own sample would test positive for THC during a home drug test.

THC was discovered in NBA YoungBoy’s pee.
The major psychotropic ingredient contained in cannabis is THC or tetrahydrocannabinol. It is one of the 113 cannabinoids identified in the plant and is thought to be involved in the plant’s evolutionary adaptability. Raphael Mechoulam, an Israeli scientist, identified the component in 1964. When smoked, the component enters the bloodstream and travels to the brain, where it binds to naturally existing endocannabinoid receptors in the cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and basal ganglia.
THC is a key element of Nabiximols, which was approved as a botanical medication in the United Kingdom in 2010 after being presented as a mouth spray for people with multiple sclerosis and cured them of neuropathic pain, stiffness, overactive bladder, and other symptoms.
In 2003, the WHO Expert Committee on Drug Dependence recommended shifting THC to Schedule IV of the Convention, citing its medicinal applications as well as its minimal misuse and addiction potential.
NBA YoungBoy was acquitted of a prior gun allegation.
NBA YoungBoy was found not guilty of federal gun charges in California in July 2022 because there was no proof that he had weapons at the time of his arrest on March 22, 2021. YoungBoy was arrested in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in September 2020 along with 16 others on drug distribution and production charges, as well as possession of stolen guns. His lawyer refuted the allegations, claiming that YoungBoy was not carrying any firearms or narcotics when he was detained.
YoungBoy was arrested again in Los Angeles in March 2021 on accusations related to his September 2020 arrest. Cops pulled him down while he was traveling and searched his car before booking him on federal gun charges. In October 2021, he was freed on a $1.5 million bond and has been under house arrest ever since.
