According to reports, she yelled at the sweeper and slapped him twice on the cheek because his cleaning brush had accidentally touched Xiang. For his morning routine, the cleaner was cleaning the park.
Aside from that, she was involved in an incident and was accused of a physical altercation on April 19, 2021. That incident occurred in a store, where she slapped the shopkeeper and a saleswoman after they mistook her for a thief. The CCTV footage of this incident went viral, and netizens took to the streets to protest. Netizens also demanded that Ambassador Peter Lescouhier and his wife be blocked.
Xiang also used diplomatic immunity in front of the police officers to save herself. He also apologized on behalf of his wife. The investigation into Peter and his wife Xueqiu continues.
