Wrong Side of the Tracks, a Spanish thriller that debuted in May 2022 and rapidly climbed to fame, is back for a second season. The tale, written by David Bermejo, features a disgruntled war veteran whose granddaughter joins a local drug group, compelling him to take things into his own hands. The series has already completed its second season in Spain and is now available on Netflix in the United States. It will hit our TVs in March of next year.

Season 2 premiere date for Wrong Side of the Tracks
The second season of the Spanish thriller will debut on Netflix worldwide on March 1, 2023, at 3:01 a.m. ET.

According to the first season’s segments, the programs will be between 69 and 80 minutes long.
The plot synopsis revealed
The setting for Wrong Side of the Tracks is Madrid’s Entrevas district, and it tracks Tirso Abantos, a former military officer who now operates a hardware shop, as his daily routine is disrupted by the violent s*xual attack of his defiant granddaughter Irene. Enraged by the event, Abantos joins forces with a dishonest police officer, Ezequiel, to confront the neighborhood crooks and revenge on his niece.
At the start of the first installment, Tirso will be alone, without Irene or the hardware shop. Furthermore, the scenario in the area is deteriorating by the day.

Viewers will be relieved to learn that the criminal thriller series will not conclude with the second season. The series was revived for a third season by Netflix in November 2022, months after the first season was canceled. According to rumors, the third season began shooting in February, and we can expect Tirso’s ex-wife and Ezequiel’s amnesiac waking to give the story a new plot element in the third season. Natalia Dicenta, Michelle Calvó, Oscar Higares, and Alex Medina will join the primary ensemble in Season 3.
