Will Ferrell was born on July 16, 1967, in Irvine, California. John William Ferrell is his given name. He is a native of the United States. Ferrell is a mixed-race Cancerian (English, Irish, distant German, and Welsh). Will Ferrell is the son of Roy Lee Ferrell Junior and Betty Kay Ferrell (mother). Roy Lee and Betty, his parents, were both musicians who played keyboards and saxophone with “The Righteous Brothers.” Will’s parents divorced when he was eight years old. Cloverdale and Rancho San Joaquin were his primary and secondary schools, respectively. He then attended University High School in Irvine, where he was a football kicker, soccer player, and basketball captain.
