AGT: All Stars is intended to reintroduce some of the finest performers that have ever graced the reality talent stage. Dancers, singers, comedians, magicians, aerialists, and other artists that have previously competed on the program will appear in the spin-off series. Vitoria Bueno, who previously featured on Das Supertalent (Germany’s Got Talent) season 15 and is originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, is one of the candidates slated to return for another shot at glory. She received the Golden Buzzer and placed second on the German version of the reality program. AGT: All Stars will air on NBC on January 2 at 8 p.m. ET.
Here’s all you need to know about the next AGT: Vitoria Bueno, All Stars contestant
Vitoria Bueno was born in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo and began dancing at the age of five on the recommendation of her physiotherapist. She is currently seventeen years old. In 2021, the performer debuted on Das Supertalent season 15. Her mother was concerned about her kid fitting in when she dropped her off for her first ballet session. The Brazilian ballet dancer was born without arms, but it was people’s attitudes about her that worried her mother.
In a February 2021 interview with Reuters, the AGT: All Stars contestant’s mother stated:
“People would pull up her shirt sleeves to view her when she went for a stroll. People have harmed me. Her infirmity worried me, but it wasn’t as bad as people’s views.”
While her mother is terrified, Vitoria is not. In the same interview, she described her arms as “simply a detail.” She added that she follows with her eyes and does not need her arms in any way. Bueno can execute beautifully in assembles and pirouettes. She can also do jazz and tap dances. Her skill and tenacity have made her a social media celebrity and a source of inspiration for many. People with impairments, according to Vitoria, benefit from witnessing her dance. She continued, saying:
“They perceive disability as minor details. We are much more than our handicap, thus we must pursue our aspirations.”
