Dance 100, Netflix’s forthcoming dance challenge, will put seasoned performers to the final test. They will be required to appear on the program in order to demonstrate their ability, but they will also be required to compose routines for big groups in order to demonstrate their abilities. Rudy Garcia, who earned a black belt in Karate at the age of 14, is one of the candidates scheduled to feature on the Netflix program. He began Karate when he was eight years old and liked it because it provided order and control in his life. The season debut of Dance 100 on Netflix will air on Friday, March 17, at 3:01 a.m. ET.

Rudy Garcia’s only desire was to dance.
Rudy Garcia, an American dancer and director born in Miami, Florida, is one of the eight dancers scheduled to participate in the forthcoming Netflix dance challenge. While he has always been involved in the arts and all things creative, he stated in an interview with Voyage MIA that he could never have envisioned himself working in the artistic industry when he was younger. In the conversation, he stated that his father enrolled him in Karate at the age of eight, and by the age of fourteen, he was already a black belt. He went on to add that the framework and discipline it provided him with prepped him for dance.
When asked when he began performing, he stated:
“By 2009, my aunt, Susie Garcia, had established her own dance school. I was ready to take the plunge and enroll in a dance lesson. “From the moment I stepped into the studio, I knew dance would be a part of my life for the rest of my life.”
The Dance 100 competitor stated that it felt “natural” to him and that he worked diligently because he knew he wanted to be the greatest. Rudy attended the New World School of the Arts, but he was rejected the first time he auditioned for the school. He just wanted to dance, but after high school, he wasn’t positive about what he wanted to do. He chose to apply to New World after some thought. However, he failed to impress the teacher during his academy tryout because he arrived in sweats and was ignorant that pantyhose was required for the audition.
However, three months later, the Dance 100 ensemble member returned and was approved. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the institution in 2017. When asked about his undergraduate experience, he stated:
“Those four years were the most difficult of my life because I was in college, instructing and training in my aunt’s ballet school, and performing professionally. During that period, I had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the world’s greatest Latin acts, including Maluma, J Blavin, Daddy Yankee, Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, and others.”
He has been a performer for 13 years and has studied in a variety of genres, but he excels in and instructs Jazz, Funk, and Contemporary. Rudy will participate in the Netflix dance series on Friday, March 17.
