Naviyd’s father is a successful singer and songwriter, having sold more than 80 million albums worldwide. When he was nine years old, his grandma noticed his vocal ability, and he began his singing career. His parents then relocated to Atlanta to offer him greater singing possibilities and an atmosphere.
Usher popularity grew with the publication of his first album, ‘Usher,’ in 1994, and subsequently from his second album, ‘My Way.’ He received two Grammy Awards for his third album, ‘8701,’ which included several big songs and sold 80 million copies. His record, ‘Confession,’ helped him establish himself as the best-selling musical artist of the decade of the 2000s. Married to a stylist
In 2007, his father married his mother, Tameka Foster. She is a celebrity stylist who has worked with Lauryn Hill, Jay-Z, Toni Braxton, Ciara, Pato LaBelle, and many more. The pair started dating in 2005, and two years later, they married. She was already a single mother of three boys from a relationship with Atlanta clothier Ryan Glover at the time. They also shared the next kid, Usher “Cinco” Raymond V, born in November 2007 as the couple’s first child.
The wedding was called off at the last minute.
After two years of dating, the pair was about to exchange wedding rings when Usher called it off an hour before the planned time because he was not ready for the commitment. However, a month later, on August 3, the wedding was rescheduled for a small civil ceremony in Atlanta, Georgia.
In an interview with Opera Winfrey, he said he was ready for the commitment because he wanted to take responsibility and did not want to be like his father, who abandoned him when he was just seven years old. The pair celebrated their wedding with a spectacular celebration on September 1 at the Chateau Elan Winery and Resort outside of Atlanta.

His parents’ marriage was doomed to fail for a long time, and the pair divorced in 2009. The couple decided to split after Tameka accused him of infidelity. His father has acquired a new business partner for himself. Rumors about his relationship with Jennifer Goicoechea began to circulate in the autumn of 2019. She is Epic Records’ senior director of Artist and Repertoire. They were first spotted together at the Hollywood Bowl in October 2019. Jennifer Johnson, a photographer, captured her and shared a picture of them kissing backstage. They have not, however, confirmed their connection.
