Who Is Madison Neisius From “American Idol” Season 21?

Madison Neisius

American Idol season 21 will be broadcast this week. Madison Neisius, a vocalist with her own “musical concept” dubbed RetroCheeseburger, will be one of the musicians featured in the forthcoming show.

Her artistic idea is explained on her website as follows:

“Madison’s creative instrumental vision is RetroCheeseburger, a diverse, quirky, and pure creative spirit. The moniker ‘RetroCheeseburger’ came about as a result of her journeying across the nation, performing music, meeting people, and keeping in contact via her Instagram handle, @RetroCheeseburger, and thus becoming recognized as such.”

The next show of American Idol season 21 will be broadcast on ABC on Sunday, February 26 at 8 p.m. ET.

Madison Neisius, a season 21 competitor on American Idol, is from Dallas, Texas.

The future American Idol season 21 candidate is a Dallas, Texas-based artist and performer who has been playing the instrument for over a decade. As her Instagram profile states, the “punky artistic gal” fell in love with the musical instrument while playing the video game Guitar Hero III and was later given an actual guitar for her birthday as a kid. The vocalist attended The School of Rock, where she was a member of the Dean’s List Band, The Continental Summer Tour Band, and American Garage, an all-female ensemble. Following that, she taught at the institution for a while. Prior to entering the music industry, she worked as a Creative Director specializing in family amusement and leisure. She regarded herself as a specialist in the fields of container design, retail, trend study, product ideas, social media, photos, video, and drawing. Previously, the American Idol season 21 competitor worked as a company Graphic Artist for all 500+ Chuck E. Cheese sites. She is presently a Creative Director for Art101, a children’s painting and activity business whose goods can be found at Walmart, Target, FiveBelow, Costco, and other retailers.

Madisonneisius.com’s profile reads:

“I graduated from the extremely difficult Communication Design school at the University of North Texas. (Each year, only 40 out of 300+ applicants are chosen!) I studied Media Design with a concentration in Art History.”

It goes on to say:

“At my heart, I am driven by a desire to capture, create, share, and convey all that life has to give.”

Madison has shared the stage with celebrities such as Vaden Todd Lewis. She also appeared on Joan Jett & The Blackhearts’ concert program and as a supporting act for The Wallflowers. She also shared the stage with Nirvana at Dallas’ Trees. Madison’s music has been characterized as having lyrical words, appealing tunes, and “moving music themes.” According to her website, her tracks have a creative punk, Joan Jett-inspired vocal.

In March 2020, the artist faced financial difficulties and was compelled to apply for disability. This is when she composed The Quarantine Birthday Song and shot a music video for it in her studio.

The page went on to say:

“Madison spent her birthday in the notorious month of March 2020 applying for layoff from her ideal position. As a coping strategy, she composed ‘The Quarantine Birthday Song,’ which she supported with her first Homemade music video, which she shot alone in her apartment. Her multi-media ingenuity flourished in this environment.”
