Kane Wommack’s wife, Melissa Wommack, is a strong supporter of her husband’s teams. The couple has three children and just celebrated their firstborn, Asher’s tenth birthday. Melissa Wommack has posted multiple times about the South Alabama football squad on X (the old Twitter). Melissa has sent tweets celebrating the accomplishments of coaches, players, and support personnel. The mother of three sons has already expressed her enthusiasm about joining the Crimson Tide family. In one of her most recent tweets, she described what it’s like to be a part of college football. After Nick Saban announced his retirement, the Alabama football team moved quickly to select Kalen DeBoer as his successor. DeBoer has appointed Kane as defensive coordinator and Maurice Linguist as co-defensive coordinator.
Meet Kane Wommack Wife, Melissa Wommack
Kane Wommack married Melissa Wommack on June 5, 2011. During their 12-year marriage, the couple has resided in many locations and had three sons. Melissa is a Hattiesburg native who graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi. The Alabama defensive coordinator is thought to have met his wife at Southern Miss, where they almost graduated at the same time.
Melissa formerly worked at Baptist Memorial Hospital, North Mississippi. Melissa hasn’t changed her Facebook account in a decade, yet she still shares stuff on her X username. Melissa recently spoke on how rapidly things change in college football. Melissa stated, “One week ago, I woke up and Nick Saban was still the head coach at Alabama.” Two days later, Kalen DeBoer was selected head coach, and his news conference was conducted the following day. Two days later, Kane is offered the DC position and departs Mobile the next day.”
She went on to say that the speed of the job does not allow for goodbyes that reflect how important individuals are to you. The coach’s wife went on to say how much they enjoyed their time in Mobile and how much they would miss everyone there. Melissa praised the South Alabama football team on Twitter and said that JagNation would always have a special place in her heart. Melissa would routinely post updates on the South Alabama athletes’ accomplishments or the support crew on her social media accounts. So we should expect her to do the same for the Crimson Tide.
Kane and Melissa Have Three Kids
Kane and Melissa have three children, and all three are males. Melissa and Kane just celebrated their baby, Asher’s, birthday. Their first child, Asher, was born on January 5, 2014. Melissa told Asher a tale about her first pregnancy in her birthday tweet. Melissa said that Kane was a GA at Ole Miss throughout her pregnancy with Asher. Her labor began during a Rebels basketball game that went into overtime, and by the time they left, she could hardly walk to her vehicle.
Melissa’s narrative ended on a cliffhanger, asking her followers to guess where Kane went before going to the hospital. Tatum, the football couple’s second kid, was born on June 14, 2015, while Jones, their third child, was born on June 5, 2019. Melissa has posted various family images of her sons on her X account. Melissa sent a loving tribute to her husband on Father’s Day last year. She uploaded three photographs of Kane and his three sons enjoying their time away from the football field.
Melissa wrote: “Happy Father’s Day, Kane Wommack. I enjoy parenting alongside you, and these three boys adore their father. Your legacy of selfless love and leadership endures! (Unlike your covid-stache, which was simply a phase.)”
