Jonathan Bennett married Jaymes Vaughan in a hotel in Mexico on Saturday, March 19; the wedding ceremony was attended by the couple’s closest friends and family.
The wedding took place at the Unico Riviera Maya Hotel, near the Playa Kantenah beach in Mexico, according to reports. According to PEOPLE, Vaughan said,
“When you’re a member of the LGBTQ+ community, not everything in the wedding environment is currently appropriate for you…The entire point of our wedding is to bring the two of us together, as well as our families, and to form a new family.”
YouTuber Brian Tyler Cohen officiated Jaymes Vaughan and Jonathan Bennett’s wedding. According to DailyMail, the couple did not even walk down the aisle in a straight line. In the background, Vaughan’s devoted “proposal” song to Bennett was being played.

Jaymes Vaughan is a professional actor with over a decade of experience in the field. Bennett is said to have met Vaughan in 2016 on his show Celebrity Page. Bennett was in town to promote his Halloween Wars event.
The 40-year-old Ohio native returned to the show several times after his debut appearance. Bennett and Vaughan became engaged in November 2020, when Vaughan proposed to Bennett with an original song on the set of The Christmas House.
Jaymes Vaughan was a member of The Chippendales in Las Vegas prior to his acting career. Vaughan was the project’s principal singer, in addition to being affiliated with the group as its ceremony organizer.
He’s also appeared on series like The Amazing Race as a participant in the hopes of winning enough money to pay for his now-deceased father’s treatment. His father was suffering from cancer at the time. In the 21st season of the tournament, Vaughan and his partner came in second place.
Following appearances on reality series such as Reality Relapse (2014), the 38-year-old worked as a TV Correspondent for CBS’ The Talk from 2014 until 2018.
