After conquering the Perth drag scene, Hannah Conda is scheduled to compete in season 2 of Drag Race Down Under. The 30-year-old has been active in the drag scene for quite some time and has made notable appearances on the eleventh season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians and the fourth season of Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father on Netflix.
In the second season of Drag Race Down Under, there will be 10 contenders from New Zealand and Australia. They will compete in high fashion tasks while showcasing their drag ability to the maximum extent. In addition to the Drag Queen title, the winner will get a $30,000 cash prize, a year’s supply of Revolution Beauty Cosmetics, and a crown and scepter from Fierce Drag Jewels.

Drag queen candidates participate in a variety of elimination-style events to determine who will become the Down Under Drag Queen Superstar.

Hannah Conda, who was born in Sydney, Australia, is now a full-time drag performer. However, she was unaware of the drag world when she was younger. She was born to parents who operated the Castle Hotel and remained occupied for the most part. In addition, she spent the whole day on schoolwork. Hannah found drag as a professional possibility at age 18. Even though she was aware that the drag business was frowned upon at the time, she followed her passion anyway. In 2012, she debuted as a drag performer in OutInPerth and subsequently became the most popular drag queen. In addition, she remained the “most popular” for the next two years.
Finally, in 2016, the Drag Race Down Under participant rose to prominence after winning two drag titles at the Drag Industry Variety Awards: Rising Star and Entertainer of the Year (DIVAs). She continued to follow her passions despite receiving several honors and accolades. Hannah has appeared at several Sydney Mardi Gras events and opened for Bianca Del Rio on her Australian tour. She has also produced and performed concerts at prestigious Australian venues. She made her last appearance at RuPaul’s DragCon in Los Angeles.
In addition to her participation in concerts and events, the drag queen has been the co-founder of Drag Storytime since 2016. It is a platform that aims to educate youngsters about the drag culture by having drag queens read to them in drag. This is meant to teach youngsters about inclusiveness, acceptance, and love, and to encourage them to dream large and utilize their imaginations.
Hannah Conda also provided her unique perspective on how the drag scene has changed since she originally won the Perth drag competition. She disclosed during an interview with Perth Now:
“It is both a boon and a bane. Because it has been so underground and prohibited for such a long period, I believe. I believe that many items nowadays have not aged properly.”
