Chloe Abbott

The Voice returns for a new season this week. Season 23 will feature a slew of great vocalists vying to be the next big thing in the singing reality show. Chloe Abbott is one of the candidates scheduled to compete for the crown. Chloe Abbott is a competitive runner who aims to make the United States Olympic squad in 2024. She aspires to be a Stage performer or vocalist someday. The season debut of The Voice season 23 will air on Monday, March 6, at 8 p.m. ET.

A competitor from The Voice season 23 has advanced for the United States Olympic Track & Field Championships in 2021.

Chloe Abbott, the future The Voice season 23 candidate, graduated from the University of Kentucky, where she concentrated on drama and minored in vocal performance. Prior to attending college, she attended Northville Michigan High School, where she acquired an interest in track and field, winning state championships in the 200 meters, 400 meters, and 4 x 400 sprints as a senior. She was a four-time All-American at the University of Kentucky and finished as the first runner-up in the NCAA finals as a senior.

The future The Voice season 23 candidate spoke to Women’s Running in 2021, where she discussed her love of theater and running. She stated that she has always had to choose between theater and music or track because both are so taxing, and the trainers and producers do not want to split their time. During college, however, she managed to do a little bit of both, singing the national anthem in front of 62,000 spectators on the football field and 20,000 on the basketball floor. The season 23 vocalist also appeared on Cabaret and in dance shows.

Her athletic efforts were halted during the 2020 epidemic, allowing her to focus solely on her music and expand her network, but she still missed running.

She stated:

“When I’m not doing both at the same moment, I have problems…I felt disgusting. I’m not going to lie, I was in a condition of uncertainty. When I returned to the track and began training again, I thought to myself, ‘This makes so much logic.’ That’s how I’ve discovered it has to be for me—they work together to maintain my intellect at a pleasant, even level.”

She ultimately turned to her mother for assistance, who put her in contact with On, a Swiss-based running shoe and clothing company that had started a distance elite training program in Colorado. The brand’s representatives chose to back The Voice season 23 performer as an athlete and musician. Following his contract with On, the track sensation composed and performed the original song for an advertising video.

“Chloe, an emerging sensation in the 400m in the United States, has her eyes fixed on victory. She’s a blossoming music performer as well as a sprinter, and she’s poised to race to success whether she’s on the track or releasing songs.”

She qualified for the United States Olympic Track & Field Championships in 2021 with a score of 50.98 seconds. On Monday, March 6, at 8 p.m. ET, NBC will air the season debut of The Voice season 23.
