Amanda Stanton expressed her worries on Instagram on February 22, 2022. She said, ”

“We’ve been watching The Bachelor this season, and I have to admit, something about this season’s several therapy dates is rubbing me the wrong way.” I see where they were trying to go with that… Forcing girls to ‘open up’ on national television and then physically evaluating their sessions or sending them home and making them feel awful if they don’t open up enough is just not the way to go.”

She continued,

“There’s a reason counseling is private, and I don’t believe this is a healthy portrayal of treatment or helping to reduce the stigma around mental health.” “I just felt compelled to express it.”
