Aiden told The Herald that he grew up watching the reality program and was reminded of its alumni, including season 10 victor Scotty McCreery and Phillip Phillips, who won the following season. He admitted to being apprehensive about his tryout but wished to have no regrets:

“I felt like it was a decent chance for me to accept, and I’d be stupid not to. I resolved to devote my existence to only doing things I enjoy doing with individuals I enjoy being around.”

Aiden told the source that he planned to trust in himself and pursue singing regardless of whether others advised him to go to college or get a career. The performer stated that he only had one existence and that he would do whatever made him joyful. While he didn’t say much about the interview, he did say it was an eye-opening experience.
