Cade Otton, born on April 15, 1999, attended Tumwater High School in Washington before becoming a successful tight end for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL.
Otton’s impressive senior year at the University of Washington in 2021 laid the groundwork for his NFL career.
The Buccaneers drafted him in 2022, and he astonished fans with a game-winning touchdown from the famous Tom Brady. He ended his debut season with 42 catches for 391 yards and two touchdowns.

Meet Cade Otton Brother: Ryan Otton
Ryan Otton, the younger brother of former Husky great Cade Otton, is making an impact on the football field. Ryan’s football career at Washington began with a struggle, a hamstring injury, and the death of his mother during his freshman year. Ryan wears the historic No. 87, which represents Otton’s history on the field, much as his brother did.
Even though he is not yet in the limelight, coaches see a lot of potential in his abilities and commitment to developing every day. Ryan had a cameo appearance versus Colorado last season, demonstrating that he is ready for prime time. He still has a few years to play, but he’s a player to keep an eye on for the Huskies.
