His father introduced him to golf, and his mother instilled in him the competitive urge to succeed. Will Zalatoris is a quiet person who doesn’t say much and keeps it low-key on social media. Catherine, Will’s mother, was an athlete in her day, much like her son. She raced 400 and 800-meter sprints in Oregon. As a result, she acquired a competitive attitude, which she passed on to her kid. She also brought her son to the gym as a child so he could compete against other youngsters. Even though she does not play golf, she is a resident of Bend, Oregon, a Pacific Northwest golf hotspot. “She always told me: don’t force anything early,” Will recalled of his mother.
