Jordan Greenway’s mother raised him and his brother James as a single parent. Jordan’s father, James, left the family when he was three years old. Jordan’s younger brother, JD Greenway, sought a career in ice hockey like his elder brother. JD was born in April 1998, making him two years younger than Jordan. He graduated from Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In the 2016 NHL Draft, the Toronto Maple Leafs picked JD in the third round, 72nd overall. However, he did not have the same amount of success as his brother Jordan. Later, in 2021, JD signed a two-year contract with the AHL Bruins to continue his hockey career.
