Thierry Daniel Henry, 46, is a former soccer player who played for several of Europe’s top teams. Thierry began his career with AS Monaco, where he originally played in the youth squad and blossomed under Arsene Wenger’s tutelage. Furthermore, he spent a short time at Juventus before returning to England and rejoining with his former manager, Arsene Wenger, at Arsenal. Henry led the Gunners to an astounding Invincible victory, a record that still stands to this day.

The Arsenal veteran subsequently went on to Barcelona, where he was part of a famous treble-winning squad led by Pep Guardiola that included Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, and others. Furthermore, Henry retired in 2012 after playing for the New York Red Bulls. He chose to be a commentator and is currently doing it for CBS Sports. In addition, Henry has played for the French national team, won the World Cup and Euro, and is the second all-time leading goal scorer.

Henry’s father, Antoine, is from the Guadeloupean Caribbean island of La Desirade, while his mother, Maryse, is from Martinique. As a result, Thierry is of Antillean descent.

Thierry was also born and raised in the rough area of Les Ulis in France. He had little interest in soccer as a youngster, but his parents urged him to play. His father drove him to training, while his mother was constantly encouraging and motivating him. However, nothing is known about the parents of the French legend.

Thierry Henry started his coaching career with Arsenal’s junior programs. His passion for the game drove him to mentor young players like Alex Iwobi.
