Who Are Anthony Carter & Cassie Burns? Meet Devin Carter Parents

Devin Carter

Devin Carter’s parents, Cassie and Anthony Carter reared him and his younger brother Joshua in Miami. Devin and his younger brother, Joshua Carter, were close growing up, and the two spent a lot of time together. However, basketball was always the focal point of Devin’s life. Devin was exposed to basketball at an early age by his father, who had previously played in the NBA, and he has been hooked ever since. Devin’s love of basketball became stronger as he grew older, and he worked hard both on and off the court to improve his abilities.

Devin is in his third year at Providence Collegiate and has had a great start to his collegiate basketball career, setting a personal high of 16 points versus Western Kentucky. Carter had a tremendous collegiate basketball career at the University of South Carolina. Furthermore, Anthony enjoyed a fantastic year at Brewster Academy in 2020-21, where he honed his abilities before going on to play junior and senior high school basketball at Doral School.

Devin Carter’s Parents

Devin Carter, a young basketball player, was born on March 18, 2002, to Anthony Carter and Cassie Burns. He grew up in Miami and played basketball with his younger brother. Carter was never driven to play or be a star since his father helped him balance his goals. His father would tell him, “Don’t play basketball because I played it.” He was always there to instruct and train him out, but he never pressured him to participate.

Brother Joshua Carter

Joshua Carter, Devin Carter’s younger brother, loves basketball just as much as his elder brother. Joshua, like his father and brother, participates in high school basketball. Growing up in a family where their father, Anthony Carter, was a well-known NBA player, the Carter brothers were surrounded by basketball, which contributed significantly to their love of sports.
