Terry Crews, the presenter of America’s Got Talent: Extreme and his wife Rebecca King-Crews have been married for nearly three decades. They originally met in the 1980s while both attending Western Michigan University. Crews was a football player, while Rebecca studied music and theater. According to Rebecca, she wasn’t instantly drawn to Crews, and he nearly ended up in the friend zone. She thought he was a bit too polite, but they finally got together and married in 1989. That following year, they had their eldest daughter, Azriel, and have since added four more children to their family.
Crews were chosen to the NFL a year later and started his career with the Los Angeles Rams. He quit the sport in 1997 and began acting. His happiness and mental health suffered as a result of the move. He became depressed after leaving football since he transitioned from a well-known sportsman to a civilian.
Terry Crews Cheating and Porn Addiction
While the couple finally got over it, they had greater issues to deal with. Crews were in New York City working on a new movie in 2010 when he contacted his wife and confessed his adultery and porn addiction. Rebecca had a sneaky sense that the actor wasn’t always genuine with her, and she was tragically correct. Rebecca’s heart was broken by Crews’ revelation, and she vowed to leave him. To her, the anguish and betrayal seemed like death. Terry, too, stated that he “could not stop crying” and felt he had lost his spouse and children.
“My wife basically said, ‘I don’t know you anymore, I’m leaving.’ “That affected me because I understood this is a serious issue,”
Crews said in his three-part Facebook video series Dirty Little Secret. Crews vowed to be a better man and went to therapy and rehab, and his efforts won Rebecca over. She opted not to leave him, but it took Rebecca three years to entirely trust him. Crews commended his wife for battling for their marriage while they worked through their challenges.
Terry Crews’ wife backed him up in the sexual assault case.
Aside despite Crew’s addiction and adultery, Rebecca supported him when he filed a lawsuit against Hollywood agent Adam Venit in 2016. Venit allegedly sexually attacked the White Chicks actor at a party. When they initially met, “Venit gazed at Crews avidly, like a rabid dog, putting his tongue in and out of his mouth provocatively,” according to records acquired by USA TODAY.
Following that, “Venit aggressively grasped Crews’ penis and testicles so forcefully that Crews experienced instant agony.” Crews requested punitive and exemplary damages in his case, claiming that the encounter caused him physical pain and psychological concerns. Venit rejected the claims, and the matter was resolved in 2018 when prosecutors dropped the charges. “I am filled with admiration for my hubby.” “This is a topic worth fighting about,” Rebecca said. Whatever happens, Crews and Rebecca resolve to be there for one another as they always have.
