Vicki Golden started racing when she was seven years old after seeing her brother and father race. Because there weren’t enough females to form a distinct racing class, Golden had to compete alongside the guys. Golden’s career began at the age of 16 when she competed in the Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Motocross National Championships in Tennessee, where she was crowned Women’s Amateur National Champion.
