Bure has an older brother called Pavel Bure, who holds the same interest as his younger brother. Bure’s father, Vladimir, who was born in Furna, Switzerland, was an Olympic swimmer who earned four medals for the Soviet Union in three Olympic games between 1968 and 1976. From 1815 to 1917, his ancestors produced valuable watches for the Russian tsars, earning them a noble rank as imperial family craftsmen.
