Umo Eno was born on May 10, 1964. His origin is Ikot Ekpene in Nigeria’s Eastern Region. (now in Akwa Ibom State). In a recent conversation with “The Guardian,” he claimed that he spent his youth in the Police Barracks. Because his father was a police officer, he grew up as a confident kid in the Police Barracks. Between 1985 and 1990, he also worked for Bertola Machine Tools before joining Norman Holdings Limited from 1990 to 1997. At Norman Holdings Limited, Umo Eno served as Group General Manager (GGM).
