“Ugliest House in America” Season 3 Is Set To Be Released On HGTV

Ugliest House in America

Ugliest House in America returns for another season, including “the best of the worst” dwellings from five areas of the United States. The homes will have horrible designs, poor functioning, and other flaws, and the poorest ones will be transformed into “beautiful.”

According to HGTV’s news release:

“Throughout the season, Retta will give her heated opinions and funny critiques of each horrifying property, remarking on strange layouts, clashing designs, and drastically outmoded trends.”

It goes on:

“One property will be designated the ‘ugliest house in America’ by HGTV based on its ugly look, poor functioning, and shocking design choices, and the network will grant its homeowners a showstopping $150,000 remodel conducted by Alison Victoria, one of its top stars.”

Ugliest House in America debuts on HGTV on Sunday, January 1 at 9 p.m. ET.

Season 3 of Ugliest House in America will include 15 residences.

The HGTV program, which will exhibit some of America’s most “horrible” residences and will be hosted by Retta, is due to launch on January 1. The actress and comedian from Parks and Recreation, who previously featured on Good Girls, will headline Ugliest House in America. The episode will include 15 residences picked by the homeowners themselves.

The residences on the program will have bizarre layouts, paradoxical designs, and out-of-date interiors, such as mural “monstrosities,” poor wood paneling, velvet wallpapers, and wall-to-wall patterned carpets. Alison Victoria, the HGTV personality and fixer, will give the property judged the worst of the bunch a $150,000 makeover as part of Ugliest House in America.

Retta had this to say about the show:

“We’ve all seen magazine-worthy houses that make you feel horrible about your own. This isn’t the same show.”

The six-part series will conclude with a one-hour special that will include a grand unveiling of the restored home.
