Tommy Flanagan Is Leaving Mayans M.C For A Proper Show Power Book IV: Force

Tommy Flanagan

Tommy Flanagan has opted to leave Sons of Anarchy after starring on every season and receiving a lot of notice with his cameo appearances on Mayans M.C. Season 2. Despite the popularity of his character, Filip “Chibs” Telford, the actor has declared that he would be moving on to a new project. The news came just before the fourth season of Mayans M.C. was about to begin. The program will, however, continue, with the next season premiering in mid to late 2022. But, why did Tommy Flanagan leave his long-running role? Continue reading to learn more.

Tommy Flanagan’s intention to put up a “decent Show”

In response to a question concerning the fourth season, Tommy Flanagan said unequivocally that he would not return to Mayans M.C. When questioned about his presence in the following season, Flanagan allegedly told Deadline, “Nah.” Flanagan has said that he is now putting on a “real performance,” alluding to Power Book IV: Force. Power Book IV: Force, a Starz production, is one of the spinoffs of the original Power series, which ran for six years beginning in 2014. Flanagan has been promised a significant part in the impending spinoff, and he is working hard to prepare for it.

Tommy Flanagan is looking forward to his involvement in Power Book IV: Force. He portrays Walter Flynn, a thug in Chicago’s underworld. His character has been a boss for over 30 years and has had to go through a lot to get there and keep his position. Flanagan is looking forward to putting on a show for his followers. Flanagan and his former character, Chibs, are still in love. He remembers Chibs as a “sweetheart” traveling across the mountains in his leather jacket. Flanagan just wants to move on with his career and be a part of something completely different at this time.

Season 4 of Mayans M.C.

Season 4 of Mayans M.C. will be published in 2022. Elgin James, who announced the season, joked that the program may only have one more season. He continued, saying:

“We look forward to delving further into each character’s secrets, examining the dangers of the explosive society they live, and for each writer, cast member, and crew to stake out our spot as storytellers in season four.”

Mayans M.C. has had an intriguing run thus far, with three seasons centering on Reyes’ (JD Pardo) slide into the dark world of crime. Hopefully, the fourth season will go even deeper into the individual individuals.  Moonfall’s Canadian release has been canceled, and the reason is being investigated as the Roland Emmerich-directed film prepares for its US debut. Tommy Flanagan will not appear on the program again in Season 4. If you want to check up with Chicago’s boss, there’s always Force on Starz. More information will be provided when it becomes available.
