Tom Edward Sizemore Jr. also known as Tom Sizemore, was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 29, 1961, to Judith (a member of the Detroit Ombudsman) and Thomas Edward Sizemore Sr (lawyer and philosophy professor). The family was all Roman Catholic. He is of French and Native American descent. Tom attended Utica High School (for his ninth grade), Austin Catholic Preparatory (for his tenth and eleventh grades), and Bishop Gallagher (for his 12th).
He then attended Michigan State University and Wayne State University before earning his master’s degree in theatre from Temple University. He relocated to New York City to pursue his acting dreams. Tom had been under the influence of drugs and was heavily addicted since the age of 15. In 1996, he married Maeve Quinlan, a Hollywood actress. They divorced soon after because of Tom’s drug use in 1999. He has even been charged with assault and abuse against one of his ex-girlfriends, Heidi Fleiss, while under the influence of drugs. He was sentenced to seven months in prison and was even subjected to four months of drug treatment after failing drug tests on multiple occasions while on probation.
