On Thursday, Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey welcomed their daughter Matilda Carmine Richie. Cuoco is not married at the moment and has been dating Pelphrey since May 2022. The Lucky 13 actress revealed the news on her Instagram page, alongside photos of the couple’s infant, with the caption:
“3-30-23 Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives! We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle. Thank you to the doctors, nurses, family and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days. We are blessed beyond belief.”
Pelphrey also posted pictures to his Instagram account, where he was seen smiling with Cuoco and holding the infant. Pelphrey referred to his daughter as the “Soul of the Universe” in the text, and he thanked Cuoco for her fortitude and valor.

Since 2010, Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey have been closely connected since 2022
Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey first encountered during the debut of Ozark’s fourth season on Netflix in April 2022. Cuoco was a friend of her boss, who also handled Pelphrey, at the gathering. The couple shortly began posting photos of each other on Instagram. They were later seen together at director Greg Berlanti’s Hollywood Walk of Fame celebration. The pair sat beside each other at the gathering, holding hands and laughing.
Cuoco then made an homage to the Ozark actor on his 40th birthday in July, expressing her affection for him as she wrote:
“Happy birthday, baby! To know you is to truly adore you… the world lit up the day you were born… I love you!!”
According to Entertainment Weekly, the pair made their red carpet début in September when they visited the Emmy Awards 2022. In October 2022, Kaley and Tom announced that they were expecting their first child. Kaley shared a few photos of Tom on Instagram while showing off her baby belly, and well wishes flooded in for the pair.
