All you need to know About the new CEO of Reebok
Todd Krinsky has worked for the sportswear company for over three decades. He began his career in the mail office and began selling shoes at the age of 16. He was transferred to the product development department, where he built shoes since he was an ardent shoe collector and basketball player with a penchant for selling footwear.
He then traveled to Asia to work in an R&D production facility in Korea to learn about manufacturing before returning to America in 1999. In 2001, he joined Paul Fireman at the label to develop Youth Culture and was tasked with overseeing the RBK music and basketball sectors. He enlisted the help of celebrities such as Jay-Z and 50 Cent to motivate and connect with young people.
He was named General Manager of the Performance Business Unit in 2018 and most recently worked as the label’s Vice President. Reebok’s classic business grew by double digits year on year under his supervision. Krinsky’s objective has been to create and expand on his great reputation in the fitness field. He aims to combine exercise with greater lifestyle credentials for customers and purchasers who are interested in both fashion and fitness.
Krinsky has had a variety of managerial positions at the label, including heading Basketball, Cleated, and Training categories, as well as leading the company’s Sports and Entertainment Marketing and RBK divisions. From 1988 to 1992, he attended Ithaca College before joining Reebok in the Mail Room.
