Shawn Wayans Is Not Gay, Claims Brother
People speculated that Wayans was gay because of his portrayal in the film Scary Movie.
But he wasn’t the only one caught up in the rumor mill. Marlon Wayans, his younger brother and a member of the Scary Movie franchise, was also rumored to be gay. Marlon was seen leaving a club with a transsexual person in 2010, prompting the stories.
Marlon responded to the question about his and his brother’s orientation on Twitter. He refuted the allegations, insisting that he and his brother were both heterosexual.
Furthermore, in 2015, the actor announced his relationship status and debunked gay rumors once more. Shawn said that he was seeing a nurse during an interview with Radio 99.7’s homosexual DJs Fernando and Greg.
When the hosts asked if he was always the one who had to pay for the dates, he stated that his girlfriend treated him well on occasion because she was doing well in her work.
