Madison Prewett, a Bachelor alum, just got engaged to boyfriend Grant Troutt in Palm Beach, Florida, on July 31, 2022. In an announcement, she said she had no knowledge about the proposal and that Troutt had also involved her family and friends. She told People in an interview:
“Grant greeted me and escorted me down to the shore, where he had candles, flowers, and a Bible with my new name written on it.” And the engagement ring of my dreams!”
The reality television actress, 26, began dating Troutt in December 2021 and made their relationship on the Instagram public in May 2022. Grant Troutt, Madison Prewett’s fiance, is a 26-year-old speaker and clergyman. He works as a summer analyst at Blue Star Innovation Partners in Frisco, Texas, according to his LinkedIn page. Previously, the social media influencer and podcaster interned at Red Mile and JMI Realty. Troutt has also worked as an assistant basketball coach at various high schools. He attended UC Santa Barbara, where he played basketball on a full scholarship, before going on to study at Southern Methodist University. Kenny and Lisa, his parents, have three children: Grant, Savannah, and Preston. Meanwhile, he has proposed to the Bachelor Nation contestant. Interestingly, the pair are the same age since they were born 20 days apart.

Prewett and Troutt got engaged before they had been together for a year. They began dating in December of last year. In May, the Bachelor star revealed her romance on Instagram, introducing Troutt as “realist G in town.” The couple’s engagement announcement featured a few photos from the proposal with the caption:
“You were definitely worth the wait.”
Prewett told People magazine about her proposal day, saying:
“He was going to accompany me and my pals to Florida, but he became ill and was unable to travel. I mistook us for a birthday party for one of our friends. I was told we were going to take birthday pictures on the beach, and when I got there, my best friend led me into the bathroom, where my mom and sisters were waiting for me with the dress I wanted to propose in.”
Prewett knew Troutt was going to propose to her at that time. The event took place on the beach in Palm Beach, Florida, at The Breakers Hotel.
She went on to say:
“I’ve been looking forward to this day my whole life.” I’m overjoyed that it’s finally here. He is all I had wished for, yearned for, and imagined my whole life. He was well worth the wait.”
The reality TV personality also said that the pair will host a small engagement celebration before beginning wedding preparations. Their ideal wedding would be “chic and sophisticated,” she said. When she was featured as a suitress in Peter Weber’s The Bachelor on ABC, Prewett’s name became famous to Bachelor Nation viewers. In the Season 24 conclusion, the protagonist chose Hannah Ann Sluss over Prewett, although their engagement was short-lived. He later began dating Prewett, but the two divorced last year.
