Teyonah Parris and her spouse James Parris recently welcomed a girl. Teyonah announced the news on Instagram with a film of her voyage leading up to the baby’s delivery. It had a long description, which she began by writing:
“What a freaking tornado. I have so much to say, but I’m too sleeping exhausted and disoriented to express it all properly, so all I’ll say is- God bless all the parents out there.”
She stated that she had no idea what it was like to be a parent and that it took a community and God. Along with the presents, she conveyed her appreciation for the moment she cradled the infant and the support she got during the trip.
She went on to say:
“Thank you to our wonderful nurse @midwifeangelina for bringing our newborn daughter into the world!! We began our pregnancy with the intention of having a hospital delivery, but that changed late in the game for us, and I’m so happy it did!”

Teyonah Parris claimed that her complete family was present throughout the trip. She even praised her mother, who had been caring for her for several weeks, and expressed gratitude that her mother took care of her even at her age. She concluded by praising her Instagram fans for their support and enthusiasm throughout her pregnancy. Parris also informed everyone that her daughter is alright and that James has been looking after both:
“I’m hoping to share more as we go, but given how long it’s taken me to get this article up, who knows!! Thank you!! I adore you all!!”

Although James Parris is Teyonah Parris’s spouse, he has chosen to live his life away from the spotlight. Details about his personal life, present occupation, job, and school history are unclear. Teyonah never disclosed anything about when she married James. Their relationship first came to light in September of last year, when Teyonah announced that she was carrying her first child, which she found using the Clearblue Digital Prenatal Test.
Teyonah stated that she was shocked to learn that she was going to be a mother. She said she prepared a lovely surprise for her husband to break the news to her, and she created a present package in which she placed the pregnancy test alongside some “first-time parent treats.” She went on to say:
“When he opened it and saw the test, it said ‘pregnancy,’ and it was very plainly written. And he just began shrieking, he was so emotional and thrilled, and we were weeping and so joyful.”
Teyonah revealed that she and James had also prepared a surprise for their family members, but it took some time for them to realize what was going on:
“We made these phony scratch-off cards. Because people were so perplexed, those were the worst and greatest times. They were so intent on winning money that they completely ignored the fact that we were expecting a child.”
