Teresa Mary Palmer was her given name at birth, and she was born in Adelaide, South Australia, on February 26, 1986. Her parents, Paula Sanders and Kevin Palmer divorced when she was three years old. Her childhood was not as happy and joyful as that of other youngsters due to her mother’s precarious financial circumstances and depression. Eventually, her father acquired custody of her and transported her to his property in the Adelaide Hills.
Palmer received his diploma from Catholic Day School, now known as Mercedes College. In 2003, school administrators spotted her acting talent when they selected her for an audition for the film “Search for a Movie Star.”
She took odd jobs such as dressing up as a cartoon character to promote sales in front of businesses, working at fast food restaurants, and working in retail to make ends meet.
