Teresa Ganzel Career
Teresa Ganzel is best known for her role as the Matinee Lady in the popular “Tea Time Movie” skits on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. “A Three Job, No Income Family,” National Lampoon’s Movie Madness, and as Greedy Gretchen in the Three’s Company episode “Lies My Roommate Told Me” (1981). She has frequently played stereotypical ditzy blonde bimbo roles, such as the Married… with Children episode and the 1982 film The Toy starring Jackie Gleason and Richard Pryor.
Ganzel has provided voice-overs for a number of cartoons, animated films, and television series, including Cow and Chicken, The Emperor’s New School, Monsters, Inc., Goof Troop, and Aaahh!!! Rugrats, Real Monsters, and Horton Hears a Who! Her first role as a voice actress was Kitty Glitter in Top Cat and the Beverly Hills Cats. Ganzel portrayed another young and sassy blonde, Sheree Winkler, in the short-lived sitcom The Duck Factory in 1984, which introduced American audiences to a young Jim Carrey.
