Tell Me Lies will return for a second season! This edition of the controversial drama, which is presently streaming on Hulu, is set to delve more into Lucy Albright’s (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco’s (Jackson White) “tumultuous yet irresistible romance.” Season 2 of Tell Me Lies is set to premiere in late 2023. The first three episodes of Tell Me Lies, Lightning Strikes, Hot-Blooded, and We Don’t Touch, We Collide, aired on September 7, 2022. The next seven episodes will be released weekly on the site, with the season finale, The Bedrooms of Our Friends, airing on October 26.
Meaghan Oppenheimer, who wrote Fear the Walking Dead, We Are Your Friends, and Queen America, conceived and co-executive produced the first season. She wrote three episodes in the first season and is slated to write a few more in the second season.

What can we anticipate from season two of Tell Me Lies?
The following season “unfolds over the span of 8 years,” according to the description. According to the synopsis:
“When Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco meet in college, they are at that formative age when apparently little decisions lead to irreversible repercussions.”
It goes on to claim that although their connection first seems to be “any regular college romance,” “they swiftly fall into an addictive entanglement that will irrevocably impact not just their lives but the lives of everyone around them.” Carola Lovering’s 2018 novel served as the inspiration for the series. According to Goodreads, the book is:
“A exciting, se*y coming-of-age thriller about poisonous love, cutthroat ambition, and stunning betrayal,” says one reviewer. Tell Me Lies is about the other person who still haunts you. The incorrect one. The one you couldn’t shake. You’ll never forget that.”
Van Patten discusses the season one finale.
In the season one conclusion, Lucy learns that Stephen is engaged to her old best friend, Lydia (Natalee Linez). Van Patten explained the surprise twist in an interview with Screen Rant:
“I was like, why? Can he possibly be any worse at this point? I have no idea what occurred or what transpired. But it’s all screwed up!”
To stay sane, the actress hoped Lucy would quit her relationship with Stephen, but she recognized that this would be impossible since the play had to go on. She did, however, hint at what to anticipate in season two. She continued, saying:
“It seems to be the ideal time for him (Stephen) to return to her (Lucy) life since she appears to have it all together.” Max is with her. She chose the stable, decent guy… she lives in L.A. and has a solid career, and of course, that’s just when he comes in, but I hope Lucy can hold out for a little while longer.”

Roberts’ fourth effort as a producer is Tell Me Lies.
