Catelynn Lowell was shown being brought to the hospital tonight, November 8, on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter (season 1 episode 10), owing to extreme ear discomfort and a numb tongue. Later, it was found that she suffered from Bell’s Palsy, which caused a change in her facial characteristics, as observed by her husband Tyler.
Bell’s Palsy is a dangerous medical disorder characterized by abrupt muscular weakness on one side of the face, resulting in a little drooping of facial features. It is a viral virus that may strike anybody at any age. Catelynn had to spend two nights in the hospital and was observed fretting about her husband having to care for their three children alone during that time.

Catelynn Lowell was given steroids after being diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy.
Bell’s Palsy is characterized by heightened sensitivity to sound on the afflicted side of the face, loss of taste, headache, drooling, and excessive saliva in the mouth. In rare situations, the illness affects both sides of the face. Bell’s Palsy is a viral illness that is often caused by flu, infectious mononucleosis, mumps, and hand-foot-and-mouth disease. People are given eye medications for the damaged eye and are encouraged to wear goggles to protect them from scratches throughout healing. Catelynn was admitted to the hospital after experiencing intense earaches and tongue numbness. Her doctor later encouraged her to get an MRI.
While she was originally concerned about the test results, The Teen Mom: The Next Chapter actress was happy to learn that she did not have a brain tumor or leison. She also admitted to being a hypochondriac throughout the episode. Catelynn informed her husband that she had been given steroids for healing after her brief stay in the hospital.

Brianna was shown moving out of her mother’s home and into her own apartment with her two children this week on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter. While Brianna’s mother was not overjoyed to see her daughter depart, she did express her love for her.
Amber was still reeling from the loss of custody of her son James to her ex-boyfriend. After three years with Leah and Leah’s father Gary, she returned to her large family home. They were shocked to witness the house’s state, which included no beds, a stink of urine, and a broken bathtub. Gary advised Amber that she should have reported James to CPS when he was living there. Jade and Sean accompanied Kloie to her first day at school. Jade sobbed after sending her off, saying she didn’t want Kloie to grow up too quickly.
