Gipson has 35 tackles on defense, nine pass breakups, and two fumble recoveries. While serving as offensive team captain, he collected over 1,400 all-purpose yards and 14 touchdowns. Gipson spent his career as a quarterback, wide receiver, free safety, and punt and kick return specialist. He was recruited by Baylor, Louisville, Fresno State, and Idaho.
