The US government insisted that all Canadian truck drivers get vaccinated or face a 14-day quarantine if they crossed US borders. And since the newly enacted legislation has made life challenging for truck drivers, they have begun to protest. The truck drivers’ protest started in British Columbia and culminated in Ottawa on January 29, 2022, with a demonstration at Ottawa Parliament Hill.
