She worked as a freelance specials producer for WPLG-TV in Miami from 1989 to 1990. She was also a producer on two magazine shows: ‘Greyhound Racing America’ in Miami, Florida (1988–90) and ‘Cowboys Special Edition’ in Irving, Texas (1990–91).
She became even busier as a sportscaster in 1991. She was a reporter and producer for the Breeders’ Cup Newsfeed in Greenwich, Connecticut; and on-field producer for ‘Inside Edition in New York City; a sports specials producer for WCIX-TV in Miami; and an NFL Films producer and director.
