WE Tv will introduce a fresh new reality program, Super Sized Salon, to its viewers on July 29 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. The program will showcase a wholly unique beauty parlor for the plus-sized population. Various plus-sized clients are shown unabashedly using every salon amenity in the video, which was shot at the famed Las Vegas-based hair salon Babydoll Beauty Couture.
Season 1 of Super Sized Salon will be more than simply a salon series for its audience. Instead, the series will have riveting drama involving experienced stylists in the salon. They will have a mix of personal and professional confrontations, but they must continue to provide the greatest service to their consumers.

In the past, the Super Sized Salon season 1 salon has also emphasized body acceptance.
Viewers should be aware that Babydoll Beauty Couture, the show’s featured salon, has been promoting body acceptance since 2012. The salon, which is owned by cosmetic artist Jamie Lopez, invites women of all shapes, sizes, and colors. According to a Cosmopolitan story, Jamie Lopez was fed up with how the beauty business treated her differently because of her size. Furthermore, several salons charge clients who are “overweight” an additional fee. Jamie explained her motivation for starting a body acceptance salon in an interview with Yahoo Beauty:
“I was motivated by the fact that there was nowhere in Vegas where I could have my nails or hair done that would meet my requirements as a plus-size woman, and I realized it was time to make some changes for the plus-size ladies of the globe,” she says.
Lopez sought to shift the industry’s story entirely, which prompted her to create Babydoll Beauty Couture in Los Angeles. Furthermore, in 2017, she launched a new salon in Las Vegas. In addition, the salon has a diverse group of five salon specialists who will participate in the program Super Sized Salon. It features Astra, called “Funky Chunky,” who brightens up her stylist team with her enthusiastic and encouraging demeanor, which helps them work optimistically amid a stressful circumstances.
Then there’s A-Love, the Holistic hair care expert, who normally keeps her employees in a good mood, but no one can escape her fury when she loses her cool. 007, Lopez’s close friend, also works as an in-house stylist at the salon. She is very protective of Lopez and excels at providing her customers with the sexiest plus-size intimates and unique bling jobs.
Taj is the team’s sensible, level-headed “mother bear,” a famous hairdresser and makeup artist. In lieu of Jamie Lopez, she is the salon manager’s second-in-command. Finally, BB is the makeup/lash artist and aesthetician who is honest and tells it like it is. Super Sized Salon is produced for WE tv by Boat Rocker’s Matador Content, with Jay Peterson, Todd Lubin, Pam LaLima, and Sam Brown serving as executive producers. Lauren P.
