According to PEOPLE, the proposal took place at Southampton’s Dune Beach and was taped for the forthcoming season of Summer House. Carl persuaded Lindsay that they were going to a bonfire as a pretense for him to propose. Lindsay, who has been dating since the beginning of 2022, was met with an intimate picnic when they arrived at the spot. The picnic came after a lengthy and beautiful proposal. Carl claimed he hid the ring in a beach bag he had with him and asked Lindsay to marry him, saying, “Our love story was just getting started.” Lindsay replied, “A thousand times, yes!” to his query.
Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke’s connection at Summer House
Lindsay and Carl were among the original cast members of the Bravo program when it debuted in the summer of 2017. They attempted to develop their friendship into romance during their fourth trip to the Hamptons in 2019. However, tensions between the two arose when Carl admitted that he did not want to be in a committed relationship with the Summer House actress. Later, when Lindsay was present, he asked a fitness teacher out.
Lindsay came to Instagram to speak out about the situation, and Carl admitted that alcohol may have played a role in his choice. While promoting Season 4 of Summer House, he told Entertainment Tonight:
“Lindsay is a lovely young lady.” You’re drinking and having a good time, whilst I’m single… They believe you should date your best buddy. That usually works out nicely. There were a few mornings when I awoke without knowing what had transpired the night before.”
Later, the Summer House couple maintained their connection and supported each other through the tough times. Lindsay was there to console Carl when his brother died in the fifth season of the program. Carl officially stated in October 2021 that he has completed 10 months of sobriety. Soon later, their romance resurfaced in the news when they uploaded photos of themselves together on social media. On Halloween, the two even dressed up as a couple. Finally, Carl announced to US Weekly in January 2022 that the pair was dating.

He stated:
“I’m pleased to report that we are dating and that things are going well. We’re overjoyed. She’s been a great support and part of my life for many years. … I mean, we make each other laugh uncontrollably. I’ve never felt more like myself than when I’m with her. That’s strong for me.”
The Summer House actor also said that things between the two became amorous towards the conclusion of season 6 filming in September 2021. Carl, on the other hand, said that he was first terrified since Lindsay was his closest friend and noted:
“There have just been more sensations.” We spend a lot of time together. I can’t tell you how many of our friends have remarked to us, ‘Oh, what about, you know…’ Like, you’re constantly thinking about me and Lindsay. And I rushed away from it for some reason. I was terrified because dating your closest buddy is terrifying.”
They’ve hung together, gone on trips, spent time with each other’s families, and been on award ceremonies and red carpets together since then. The pair disclosed to US Weekly in May 2022 that they were preparing to move in together.
Carl claimed that they were “extremely serious, in love, and very happy” and that they were moving into a “whole new place.” The 37-year-old explained:
“We are really pleased to begin our new chapter together.” Living together is a huge step, but we’ve been doing it for over a year now, simply swapping into each other’s residences here and there.”
Other members of the Summer House cast were also there to commemorate the event. Kyle Cooke, Danielle Olivera, Paige DeSorbo, Mya Allen, and Andrea Denver were among them. Carl proposed with a “sparkling Nicole Rose ring with a 3.5-carat square brilliant cut cushion with two half-moon diamonds on the side,” according to PEOPLE. The couple then celebrated with friends and family at Dockers Waterside Marina & Restaurant. Hubbard’s father and stepmother had come in from Florida to join the newlyweds on their big day.
