Stoney Westmoreland was just sentenced to two years in jail for attempting to have s*x with a juvenile. He admitted to utilizing interstate facilities to transmit information on a child. Westmoreland was first charged with internet enticement of a juvenile, which carries a possible 10-year jail term. The actor must submit to DNA testing and register as an s*x offender. His electronic devices will be checked, and he will be required to furnish authorities with information on his electronic accounts. Westmoreland is not permitted to contact anybody under the age of 18 unless accompanied by an adult.
He was arrested in 2018 for attempting to have s*x with a minor. He met a 13-year-old girl on the dating app Grindr, with whom he exchanged obscene photos. However, it was subsequently discovered that he was conversing with an undercover cop while claiming to be a juvenile.
Following his arrest, Stoney Westmoreland was dismissed and a statement was published. According to their representative:
“Stoney Westmoreland, an actress on the show Andi Mack, was detained today in Salt Lake City.” We have dismissed him from his recurrent role, and he will not be returning to work on the series, which closes production on its third season next week, due to the nature of the allegations and our duty for the wellbeing of hired kids.”
