A guy claiming to be a real patriot harassed and recently threatened Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak and his wife Kathy at a Las Vegas restaurant. The individual allegedly snapped a photo with the governor before making racially and politically insensitive remarks against Sisolak and his wife. The guy forced the governor to leave but continued to threaten him outside the restaurant. The event was captured on film, and the footage was widely shared on social media. Sisolak addressed the issue but did not go into great depth owing to the current inquiry.

During the encounter, the governor stayed calm, but the individual proceeded to make offensive statements about the politician. He further said that Sisolak was at the site without protection and threatened to bind him to a lamppost. Sisolak left the restaurant without reacting to the guy, but the verbal assault continued outside the establishment. The individual was eventually recognized on social media as self-proclaimed digital designer Justin Andersch. In a statement to Newsweek, the governor’s office said that Steve Sisolak was profoundly saddened by the event, particularly the racially abusive comments used toward his wife. Steve said,
“We may debate on the ideas, but personal assaults and threats are unjustified, unwanted, and unfit for Nevadans.”
The governor also said that he works on behalf of all Nevadans, even those who disagree with him and that he will continue to serve his state. Sisolak also praised the restaurant staff’s professionalism and urged Nevadans to be polite. Meanwhile, Nevada State Police spokeswoman Kim Yoko Smith said the agency is “aware of the occurrence and has launched an inquiry into the circumstances.” There has been no more information released about the investigation’s current status.
