Stephen Gilchrist Glover, also known as Steve-O to his fans, is a British-American-Canadian actor, clown, producer, performer, musician, and author best known for his stunt work on the hit American television series Jackass.

Steve-O Biography
Stephen Glover was born on June 13, 1974, in Wimbledon, London, to Donna Gay and Richard Glover. His father’s job required him to travel frequently. In London, he attended the American School. He then attended the University of Miami to further his education. He transferred to the University of New Mexico after dropping out of there. In 1997, he graduated from Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College.
He was charged with illegal cocaine possession near the end of his career. His drug use and bipolar personality exacerbated his erratic behavior, leading to his suicide attempt. He has since been in and out of rehab and mental institutions in order to deal with his demons.

Career
Stephen used to send videos of himself performing in the Fort Lauderdale Swap Shop to Jeff Tremaine, the editor of Big Brother magazine. He was eventually cast in the MTV show Jackass. It was well received by audiences, resulting in five spin-off films: Jackass: The Movie, Jackass Number Two, Jackass 2.5, Jackass 3D, and Jackass 3.5.
Steve-O released a DVD titled Don’t Try This at Home in 2001, which contained all of the material that had been censored by MTV while the show was airing.
He was arrested in 2002 and had to enter into an agreement with the Louisiana Police to avoid jail time. He went on tour with Bam Margera, one of his Jackass co-stars, in 2003. Following this tour, more arrests were made for obscene behavior and drug possession.
He co-starred in the MTV series Wildboyz with Chris Pontius until 2006. He also founded his own shoe company, Sneaux Shoes, in 2005.
Stephen appeared on the British reality television show Love Island in 2006. In 2007, he starred in his own show, Dr. Steve-O, for the USA Network. Hard As a Rock, Steve-own O’s rap album, and The Dumbest Asshole in Hip Hop, a mixed CD, were also released. He appeared in the Jackass MTV 24-Hour Takeover in 2008. He appeared as a contestant on the hit show Dancing With the Stars in 2009 but was eliminated in the sixth week.
He toured the United States with his stand-up act in 2010. Steve-O also has his own YouTube channel, where he regularly uploads videos. He has approximately 3.9 million subscribers. He appeared as one of the competitors in the British reality television series The Jump in 2014.
