Stephen Chow Biography
Stephen Chow Sing-Chi was born in British Hong Kong on June 22, 1962. Ling Po Yee and Chow Yik Sheung were his parents, and his father Chow was an immigrant from Ningbo, Zhejiang. He was the second of three children, the other two being sisters Chow Man Kei and Chow Sing Ha. His parents divorced when he was seven years old, and he was raised by his mother.
He attended Heep Who Primary School, a Kowloon Peninsula missionary school. He attended San Marino Secondary School after finishing high school, and after graduating, he enrolled in acting classes at TVB. When he was nine years old, he was inspired to become a martial artist after watching Bruce Lee’s film The Big Boss.
